VeAhavta volunteers featured on talk show

On Sunday, June 22 at 8 a.m. (EST), a half-dozen VeAhavta volunteers from southeast Michigan will appear on "A Closer Look," a community affairs television on WWJ-TV, the CBS affiliate in metro Detroit.
Following the broadcast, the show will be available for streaming at http://wwjtv.com/ (A panel marked "video" features a list of shows -- scroll right until reaching "A Closer Look.")
The show discussed the situation in Sri Lanka, the establishment and growth of the Grace Care Center, the work of VeAhavta, and the prospects for the future. Appearing on the show were: reporter James Mitchell, pharmacist Lori Kostoff, attorney Lynn Helland, teacher Erin Whaley, Dr. Cheryl Huckins and physical therapist Tara Rondy.
Please take time to watch this 22-minute summary of what our friends at the Grace Care Center are facing, and what can be done to help.
VeAhavta appreciates the work of Producer Kris Kelly and host Ken Bryant Jr. for allowing this story to be told. Thanks also to the VeAhavta volunteers from Michigan!
